Memory Bears & Keepsake Animals
Some clothes are far too precious to simply put away. A loved one’s favourite shirt can bring back memories of a familiar hug, while tiny baby outfits remind us just how little they once were. I lovingly turn these treasured garments into memory bears and keepsake animals, giving you something special to hold close and helping keep those memories part of everyday life.
I make each keepsake in my Middlesbrough sewing room, treating your clothing with care and respect. Choose from jointed bears, softer fixed-limb designs, bunnies, dogs, cats, Highland cows and more. Some designs offer a combination of your clothing with my soft fur or fleece.
Miniature clothing can give your bear or animal a dressed look inspired by a favourite outfit. Please enquire about suitable designs, including a jacket-and-trousers suit look.
Waiting time and ordering
For current bookings, memory bears and keepsake animals usually take around 6–8 weeks from booking, before posting or collection. Small memorial robins and Always With You bears ordered on their own usually take 5–7 working days from receiving your clothing; please check the individual listing.
Each listing explains the size, clothing needed, available choices and personalisation. A £25 deposit per keepsake is available where offered, with the remaining balance and postage payable before posting or collection.
You can book up to 12 months ahead, subject to availability, including May or June for school-leavers keepsakes and October or November Christmas sewing slots. Please tell me your preferred sewing month and year, plus the date you need your finished keepsake. I’ll confirm availability, your sewing schedule and when to send your clothing. Future-date bookings follow the agreed schedule rather than the usual 6–8 weeks from booking.
