Robin – Traditional Jointed Memory Bear | Coming Soon
Meet Robin, my upcoming traditional jointed memory bear, lovingly handmade from your loved one’s clothing to keep treasured memories close. I’ll create each bear in my Middlesbrough sewing room, with care for the meaning your garments hold.

Size and clothes needed
Robin will measure approximately 32cm seated, with a fixed head and movable arms and legs using traditional cotter-pin and disc joints, rather than the button joints used on my regular jointed bear.
The clothing quantity will be confirmed once the sample is complete. Extra garments will be welcome for contrasting colours or fabrics.
I support suitable fabrics with interfacing and preserve meaningful details wherever possible. Let me know about special pockets, logos or names. Please contact me about thick clothing or fabric suitability.
As with my other memory bears, Robin will have my sewn-in safety label and soft, hypoallergenic, fire-resistant polyester filling.
Personalisation
Planned personalisation is an optional £10 extra for embroidery, printed photos or wording, including reproductions of your loved one’s handwriting. The available choices and placement will be confirmed before bookings open.
Booking and waiting time
Robin is not yet open for bookings. My current turnaround for larger sewing keepsakes is around 6–8 weeks from booking, before posting or collection. Robin’s waiting time will be confirmed at launch.
An Express turnaround add-on is available for eligible bookings, subject to availability. Please contact me first to discuss your date.
When bookings open, you’ll be able to pay in full or book with a £25 deposit. The remaining balance will be invoiced on completion and must be paid before posting or collection.

Optional extras
Add a gift box or another keepsake, such as a hanging heart, keyring and more.
I can also make miniature clothing using your treasured garments. Please message me to discuss a particular outfit for Robin and any additional cost.
Care and important information
Sponge clean gently; do not machine wash. Robin is intended as a collectable keepsake, not a toy, and is not suitable for children under 14.
Your leftover clothing and fabric scraps will be returned with your bear. Tracked Royal Mail delivery and appointment-only local collection in Middlesbrough will be available.
