Memory Bear, Cushion & Sewing Keepsakes Deposit – Made From Loved One’s Clothing

Book a memory bear, animal, cushion or other clothing keepsake with a £25 deposit per keepsake to secure your place in my sewing diary.

This payment is a deposit towards your order, not the full keepsake price. Please read your chosen product’s listing for its full price, size, clothing requirements and available personalisation before booking.

How to book

Choose the keepsake you’d like from the options above. One £25 deposit is required for each keepsake you’re booking.

If booking more than one of the same keepsake, choose the matching quantity. For different keepsakes, add a deposit for each chosen design to your basket. Please tell me in the order notes which keepsakes you would like and how many.

Booking ahead for a special date

You can book a sewing slot up to 12 months ahead with a £25 deposit per keepsake. For example, you might reserve a May or June slot for a school-leavers keepsake, an October or November slot for a Christmas keepsake, or a slot ahead of a birthday or anniversary.

Please tell me in the order notes your preferred sewing month and year and the date you need your finished keepsake by. I’ll contact you to confirm availability, agree the making schedule and arrange when your clothing needs to reach me. My sewing diary can fill quickly during busy seasonal periods, so booking ahead helps you plan.

Waiting time and sending your clothing

For current bookings, memory bears, keepsake animals, cushions, blankets, stockings and Christmas sacks usually take around 6–8 weeks from booking, before posting or collection. Seasonal demand or multiple-item orders may take longer; I’ll confirm your estimated completion time by email.

Future-date bookings follow the schedule agreed with me rather than the usual turnaround from the date your deposit is paid.

You’ll receive instructions for sending your clothing, and I’ll contact you before starting your keepsake. Please allow up to two weeks for the making stage from your agreed start date, with longer needed for some blankets or multiple-item orders.

Balance, postage and collection

When your keepsakes are complete, I’ll send an invoice for the remaining balance. Postage is calculated according to the size and quantity of your order and added to that invoice.

Full payment is required before posting or collection. Local clothing drop-off and collection are available in Middlesbrough.
