Memory Blankets
Every treasured garment holds its own little memory, from a loved one’s favourite clothes to tiny baby outfits and much-loved school uniforms. I lovingly bring these pieces together in a patchwork memory blanket, creating something comforting to wrap around you or keep close at home. Each patch becomes part of a bigger story, preserving memories of someone special or the years you’ve watched your little one grow.
I lovingly make each blanket in my Middlesbrough sewing room, preserving meaningful details wherever possible and finishing it with soft anti-pill fleece backing in your chosen colour.
Waiting time and ordering
For current bookings, turnaround is around 6–8 weeks from booking, before posting or collection. Future-date bookings follow the agreed sewing schedule rather than the usual 6–8 weeks from booking.
The product listing explains the blanket size, patchwork options, clothing needed, personalisation and care. Embroidery, printed photos or meaningful wording can add a personal touch; please check the available options and charges before ordering.
A £25 deposit per keepsake is available where offered, with the remaining balance and postage payable before posting or collection.
You can book up to 12 months ahead, subject to availability, for birthdays, anniversaries or October or November Christmas sewing slots. Please tell me your preferred sewing month and year, plus the date you need your finished blanket. I’ll confirm availability, your sewing schedule and when to send your clothing.
