Regular Jointed Memory Bear – Handmade From Loved One’s Clothing

Each Regular Jointed Memory Bear is lovingly handcrafted to transform treasured garments into a comforting keepsake you can hold close. More than just a bear, this is a lasting reminder of someone special — thoughtfully made to preserve precious memories in the most meaningful way.

Every bear is individually cut, sewn and finished by hand in my Middlesbrough home sewing room 🧵💜 where your clothing is treated with the utmost care and respect.

TURNAROUND TIME 💗

The average turnaround time for memory bears is approximately 6–8 weeks from the date your order is placed. This reflects my current sewing diary and the time and care given to each handmade keepsake.

If you require your keepsake sooner, a limited number of Express Turnaround spaces may be available ✨

You will receive a confirmation email after purchase, followed by detailed instructions for sending your clothing. Once your clothing arrives, I will message or email you to confirm it has been received safely.

When your order is booked into my sewing diary, I will provide an estimated completion date.

Payment Options ✨

You can choose to pay in full when placing your order, or secure your booking with a £25 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance will be invoiced upon completion of your bear. No keepsakes are posted or available for collection until full payment has been received.

How It Works 💜

Place your order (or deposit).
Send your clothing following the instructions provided.
I will confirm the safe arrival of your garments.
Your keepsake is carefully handcrafted with love and attention to detail 🧵✨
Final payment (if applicable) is made.                                                                              
Your finished memory bear is safely returned home to you, along with any leftover clothing and fabric scraps unless you request otherwise.

Item Details 💗

Your Regular Jointed Memory Bear requires approximately 6–8 baby garments or 1–2 adult garments. Additional fabric can be included if you would like extra design features.

The bear measures approximately 11 inches when seated and 15 inches when standing, although final size may vary slightly depending on the clothing used.

Each bear features fully jointed arms and legs, allowing gentle movement while maintaining a traditional keepsake appearance.

Black safety eyes and a felt nose are carefully fitted, and each bear is finished with four decorative “Handmade With Love” wooden buttons and a sewn-in Stacey’s Loveable Keepsakes safety label.

All keepsakes are filled with super soft, hypoallergenic, fire-resistant polyester stuffing.

Personalisation 💗

You can choose between:

Personalisation options include embroidery such as a name and date or a short meaningful phrase like “With You Always”.

You may also choose a printed panel featuring a photo and wording or a special quote.

I can also carefully replicate your loved one’s handwriting from a card or note, which can be printed onto the feet of your bear or onto a fabric heart for an extra meaningful touch ✨

Clothing Information 💗

Most types of clothing can be used. Thicker fabrics can sometimes be more difficult to work with, but all garments are carefully stabilised with interfacing to provide structure and durability.

Care Instructions 💗

Your memory bear is a delicate keepsake created from pre-loved garments.

Please do not machine wash. Gently sponge clean only and handle with care to preserve its quality and detail.

Delivery & Collection ✨

If you are local to Middlesbrough, you are welcome to select local collection at checkout. You are welcome to drop your clothing off and collect your finished keepsake once it is completed.

All posted keepsakes are carefully packaged and dispatched using a secure tracked Royal Mail service for a safe journey home.

Important Information 💗

Memory bears and keepsake animals are collectable keepsakes (NOT TOYS) and are not suitable for children under 14 years. As they are created from pre-owned clothing, they cannot be CE tested.
