Memory Bird Keepsake – Handmade From Loved One's Clothing
Lovingly handcrafted from treasured garments, the Memory Bird creates a comforting keepsake you can hold close. With its sweet rounded shape, detailed wings and characterful oversized feet, it provides a lasting reminder of someone special—thoughtfully made to preserve precious memories in the most meaningful way.
Your Memory Bird will be individually cut, sewn and finished by hand in my Middlesbrough home sewing room 🧵💜 where your clothing will be treated with the utmost care and respect.
TURNAROUND TIME 💗
The average turnaround time is approximately 6–8 weeks from the date your order is placed. This reflects my current sewing diary and the time and care given to each handmade keepsake.
If you require your keepsake sooner, a limited number of Express Turnaround spaces may be available ✨

If you have a specific date in mind, I recommend messaging me before placing your order so I can confirm availability.
You will receive a confirmation email after purchase, followed by detailed instructions for sending your clothing. Once your clothing arrives, I will message or email you to confirm it has been received safely.
When your order is booked into my sewing diary, I will provide an estimated completion date. Once I begin work on your order, I allow up to two weeks for completion, and a little longer for larger or more complex orders.

You can choose to pay in full when placing your order, or secure your booking with a £25 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance will be invoiced upon completion of your Memory Bird. No keepsakes are posted or available for collection until full payment has been received.

Final payment (if applicable) is made.
Your finished Memory Bird is carefully packaged and returned to you, along with any leftover clothing and scraps unless you request otherwise.
Item Details 💗
The Memory Bird measures approximately 22cm tall and 24cm wide, although the final size may vary slightly depending on the clothing used.
Your Memory Bird requires approximately 6–8 baby garments or 1–2 adult garments. Additional clothing can be included if you would like extra design features.
The Memory Bird features a sweet rounded body, detailed wings and characterful oversized feet — all lovingly crafted from your treasured garments.
Black safety eyes are carefully fitted, and each Memory Bird is finished with a satin ribbon, a decorative charm and a sewn-in Stacey's Loveable Keepsakes safety label.
All keepsakes are filled with super soft, hypoallergenic, fire-resistant polyester stuffing.

Clothing Information 💗
Most types of clothing can be used. Thicker garments can sometimes be more difficult to work with, but all clothing is carefully stabilised with interfacing to provide structure and durability.
Your Memory Bird requires approximately 6–8 baby garments or 1–2 adult garments. If you are unsure whether your clothing is suitable, please contact me via email or message me through my Facebook page (Stacey's Loveable Keepsakes) before ordering.
Care Instructions 💗
Your Memory Bird is a delicate keepsake created from pre-loved garments.
Please do not machine wash. Gently sponge clean only and handle with care to preserve its quality and detail.
Delivery & Collection ✨
If you are local to Middlesbrough, you are welcome to select local collection at checkout. You are welcome to drop your clothing off and collect your finished keepsake once it is completed.
All posted keepsakes are carefully packaged and dispatched using a secure tracked Royal Mail service for a safe journey home.
Important Information 💗
The Memory Bird is a collectable keepsake (NOT A TOY) and is not suitable for children under 14 years. As it is created from pre-owned clothing, it cannot be CE tested.
