Handmade School Leavers Hoodie Cushion – Made From Your Child’s Hoodie
Turn your child’s school-leavers hoodie into a keepsake of friendships, achievements and a special chapter in their life. I lovingly make each cushion in my Middlesbrough sewing room, preserving the familiar details that make their hoodie special.
Size and hoodie needed
Please send 1 hoodie. The hood and sleeve are carefully incorporated into the design to keep the original character of the garment.
Your cushion measures approximately 17 inches square, with a removable, soft, hypoallergenic, fire-resistant polyester inner pad included. An envelope-style opening at the back allows the pad to be removed.
I support the fabric where needed to give the finished cushion structure. If you’re unsure whether your hoodie is suitable, please contact me before ordering.
Booking and waiting time
My current turnaround is around 6–8 weeks from booking, before posting or collection.
If you need your cushion for a graduation, celebration or particular date, please contact me before ordering to check availability.
Pay in full or book with a £25 deposit. The remaining balance is invoiced on completion and must be paid before posting or collection.
Optional extras
Add another keepsake made from the same hoodie, such as a hanging heart or keyring, where enough suitable fabric is available.
Care and important information
Hand wash only, do not tumble dry, and allow to air dry naturally. Handle gently to protect the fabric and printed details.
This cushion is a keepsake item, not a toy.
Tracked Royal Mail delivery and appointment-only local collection in Middlesbrough are available.
