Memory Blanket Made from Loved One's Clothing | Handmade Keepsake Blanket
Wrap yourself in treasured memories with a blanket lovingly handmade from your loved one’s clothing. Precious baby clothes, children’s outfits and school uniforms can also be brought together into a keepsake of special moments.
I make each blanket in my Middlesbrough sewing room, finished with beautifully soft anti-pill fleece backing in your chosen colour.
Size and clothes needed
Your blanket measures approximately 90 × 110cm.
For adult clothing, I usually use 9-inch patches. Please send around 10 adult garments.
For baby clothing, I use smaller 6-inch patches to include more outfits. Please send at least 20 baby garments.
Extra clothing is welcome if you’d like more treasured pieces included. Each patch is backed with interfacing for support and durability.
Choose your fleece-backing colour from a wide range of colours, purchased especially for your order.
Mention special pockets, logos, embroidery or favourite patterns in your order notes. I’ll contact you before making your blanket to discuss your clothing, backing colour and any special requests.
Personalisation
For an optional £10 extra, add embroidered names, dates or a short phrase, a printed photo panel with wording, or a printed fabric heart.
Your loved one’s handwriting can also be reproduced from a card, letter or note and printed onto a panel or heart.

Booking and waiting time
My current turnaround is around 6–8 weeks from booking, before posting or collection.
An Express turnaround add-on is available, subject to availability. Please contact me before ordering to check your date.
Pay in full or book with a £25 deposit. The remaining balance is invoiced on completion and must be paid before posting or collection.
Optional extras
Add another keepsake made from your treasured clothing, such as a hanging heart, keyring and more.
Care and important information
Hand wash only, do not tumble dry, and allow to air dry naturally. Handle gently to protect your treasured fabrics.
This blanket is a handmade keepsake for comfort and display, not a toy.
Your leftover clothing and fabric scraps are returned with your blanket. Tracked Royal Mail delivery and appointment-only local collection in Middlesbrough are available.
