Each Memory Blanket is lovingly handcrafted to transform your loved one’s treasured clothing into a beautiful keepsake you can wrap yourself in. It can also be created from precious baby clothes, children's clothing, school uniforms or other sentimental garments, creating a truly personal keepsake. Thoughtfully handmade and finished with your choice of beautifully soft anti-pill fleece backing, each blanket is designed to bring warmth, comfort and treasured memories together in a keepsake to cherish for years to come.

Lovingly cut, sewn and finished by hand in my Middlesbrough home sewing room 🧵💜, I understand just how precious the clothing you send is. That's why every garment is treated with the utmost care and respect from the moment it arrives until your finished keepsake is safely on its way home.

TURNAROUND TIME 💗

The average turnaround time for memory and keepsake blankets is approximately 6–8 weeks from the date your order is placed. This reflects my current sewing diary and the time and care given to each handmade keepsake.

You will receive a confirmation email after purchase, followed by detailed instructions for sending your clothing. Once your clothing arrives, I will message or email you to confirm it has been received safely.

When your order is booked into my sewing diary, I will provide an estimated completion date.

PAYMENT OPTIONS ✨

You can choose to pay in full when placing your order, or secure your booking with a £25 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance will be invoiced upon completion of your blanket. No keepsakes are posted or available for collection until full payment has been received.

Place your order (or deposit).
Send your clothing following the instructions provided.
I will confirm the safe arrival of your garments.
Your keepsake is carefully handcrafted with love and attention to detail 🧵✨
Final payment (if applicable) is made.
Your finished memory blanket is safely returned home to you, along with any leftover clothing and fabric scraps unless you request otherwise.

ITEM DETAILS 💗

Your Memory Blanket is finished at approximately 90cm x 110cm, making it the perfect size as a lap blanket, cot blanket or comforting keepsake to wrap yourself in.

For blankets created from adult clothing, I usually use a 9-inch patch template. I recommend sending approximately 10 adult garments, although you're welcome to send additional clothing if you'd like more variety throughout your blanket.

For blankets created from baby clothing, I use a smaller 6-inch patch template, allowing many more precious outfits to be included while keeping the finished blanket approximately the same size. I recommend sending at least 20 baby garments, with additional clothing welcome if you'd like even more memories included.

Every fabric patch is individually backed with interfacing to provide stability and durability while preserving the character of the original garments.

Each blanket is finished with your choice of beautifully soft anti-pill fleece backing, available in a wide range of colours and purchased especially for your order.

If there is a particular logo, embroidery, favourite pattern, pocket or special area of clothing you would like featured, simply leave a note at checkout 💗. Before I begin making your blanket, I'll always contact you to discuss your clothing and any special requests to ensure your keepsake is exactly how you imagined.

PERSONALISATION 💗

Make your Memory Blanket even more personal by choosing from a range of optional personalised additions.

You may choose to add:

• 📷 A printed photo panel featuring a favourite photograph with your own wording.

For an even more meaningful touch, I can also carefully recreate your loved one's handwriting from a cherished card, letter or note and print it onto a fabric panel or heart, creating a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake ✨

As every Memory Blanket is created from multiple fabric patches, I carefully plan the layout to make the best use of your treasured clothing while preserving the special details that matter most.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS 💗

Your blanket is created from various pre-loved fabrics and should be handled with care.

Hand wash only and do not tumble dry.  Allow to air dry naturally to help preserve the quality and detail of your keepsake.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION ✨

If you are local to Middlesbrough, you are welcome to select local collection at checkout.

All posted keepsakes are carefully packaged and dispatched using a secure tracked Royal Mail service for a safe journey home.
