Memory Patchwork Christmas Stocking – Memorial Keepsake Made from Loved One’s Clothing

Each Memory Patchwork Christmas Stocking is lovingly handcrafted from the clothing of your precious loved one, creating a meaningful keepsake to hang year after year.

This memorial stocking is designed to bring comfort during the festive season — a gentle reminder of someone who continues to hold a special place in your heart.

Every patch, stitch and detail is thoughtfully arranged to preserve treasured fabrics while creating a beautifully balanced design.

Each stocking is individually cut, sewn and finished by hand in my Middlesbrough home sewing room 🧵💜 where your clothing is treated with the utmost care and respect.

TURNAROUND TIME 🤍

The average turnaround time is approximately 6–8 weeks from the date your order is placed. This reflects my current sewing diary and the time and care given to each handmade memorial keepsake.

If you have a specific date in mind, especially in the lead up to Christmas, I recommend messaging me before placing your order so I can confirm availability.

You will receive a confirmation email after purchase, followed by detailed instructions for sending your clothing. Once your clothing arrives, I will message or email you to confirm it has been received safely.

When your order is booked into my sewing diary, I will provide an estimated completion date.

PAYMENT OPTIONS ✨

You can choose to pay in full when placing your order, or secure your booking with a £25 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance will be invoiced upon completion of your stocking. No keepsakes are posted or available for collection until full payment has been received.

• Choose your fleece colour (red or white)
• Add your loved one’s name for embroidered personalisation
• Send your clothing following the instructions provided
• I will confirm safe arrival of your garments
• Your stocking is carefully handcrafted with love and attention to detail 🧵✨
• Final payment (if applicable) is made
• Your finished keepsake stocking is safely returned home to you 🌸 along with any leftover clothing and fabric scraps unless you request otherwise

ITEM DETAILS 🌸

• Approximate finished size: 19” high × 12” wide
• Features 26 visible fabric squares (approx. 3” each) arranged for balance and contrast
• Patchwork is featured on the front panel
• Back panel is soft fleece in your chosen colour (red or white)
• Fully lined for a high-quality, luxurious finish
• Embroidered name on the cuff included as standard

Light to medium-weight fabrics such as shirts, T-shirts and pyjamas work beautifully. Thicker fabrics such as heavy fleece or knitwear are not suitable.

If your clothing features larger designs, logos or printed wording, I may use selected 6” patches where needed to best showcase these details while maintaining a balanced layout 🌸

All clothing is carefully prepared, stabilised with interfacing and handled with great care to preserve as much detail as possible.

SIGNATURE POEM TAG 🤍

Each memorial stocking includes an exclusive embroidered poem tag, created especially for this keepsake:

The tag is embroidered onto red felt with a satin-stitched edge and finished with a delicate heart detail 🌸 making every stocking instantly recognisable as a heartfelt memorial piece.

CLOTHING INFORMATION 🤍

A minimum of two adult garments or a small selection of lighter fabrics is required. More items can be included for additional contrast and variation.

All unused clothing and fabric scraps are returned with your completed keepsake unless you request otherwise.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS 🤍

Your memorial stocking is created from pre-loved garments and should be handled with care.

Please sponge clean only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Care guidance is included on the sewn-in label attached to your stocking.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION ✨

If you are local to Middlesbrough, you are welcome to select local collection at checkout and drop your clothing off before collecting your finished stocking once completed.

All posted keepsakes are carefully packaged and dispatched using a secure tracked Royal Mail service for a safe journey home.

Keepsake stockings are handmade from pre-loved clothing and are classed as collectable keepsakes (NOT TOYS). They are not suitable for children under 14 years.
